An update to those ducks who keep coming for a swim in my pool:

They still are here!  They aren't nearly as scared as before -- instead of swimming away from me as a walk towards them, they generally ignore me now.  Once i fed them some bread, they started liking me!  I was able to get close enough to take a decent picture of them!

Of course, those demon cats are still lurking, waiting to pounce on them as soon as they are able to.

Uh oh, looks like Damien has spotted dinner!

Fortunately, the ducks are smart enough to stay in the middle of the pool when he's around! :P

A couple nights ago, my mother was worried about the female, because the male came by himself, with no mate in sight.  We felt so bad for him, because he stood outside of the pool on the concrete, quacking away, calling for her.  Now i don't know if ducks have feelings, but from the looks of this one, he definitely was sad.  We feared the worst had happened.

Luckily though, later that night, i peered out my window to see both of them happily swimming away in unison again!

I think they may have moved on now, as of this posting.  I haven't seen them in a couple days.  Looks like they found a new place to mate!
