| An update to those ducks who keep coming for a swim in my pool: They still are here! They aren't nearly as scared as before -- instead of swimming away from me as a walk towards them, they generally ignore me now. Once i fed them some bread, they started liking me! I was able to get close enough to take a decent picture of them! 
Of course, those demon cats are still lurking, waiting to pounce on them as soon as they are able to. 
Uh oh, looks like Damien has spotted dinner! 
Fortunately, the ducks are smart enough to stay in the middle of the pool when he's around! :P A couple nights ago, my mother was worried about the female, because the male came by himself, with no mate in sight. We felt so bad for him, because he stood outside of the pool on the concrete, quacking away, calling for her. Now i don't know if ducks have feelings, but from the looks of this one, he definitely was sad. We feared the worst had happened. Luckily though, later that night, i peered out my window to see both of them happily swimming away in unison again! 
I think they may have moved on now, as of this posting. I haven't seen them in a couple days. Looks like they found a new place to mate! btw, KUNG FU PANDA LOOKS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!

| Sun Run Last Sunday was the annual Sun Run, which i have now been doing for 10 years. TEN YEARS?! WTF?! AM I CRAZY?! The first couple years, i always ran it, without training of course. I then suffered the next week in a bad, bad way. In more recent years, i've always said to myself that i would not run it -- just take it easy and walk. Yet, without fail, every year either at the starting line, or mid race, i get pissed off at going so slow, and start running. Once again, i would suffer for a week. THIS YEAR, i actually stuck to my guns, and WALKED THE ENTIRE WAY! I (am still) way too injured to run, so that forced me to walk. I would quite say take it easy, because my original plan was to go with my parents. However, as soon as we started, my dad zoomed off never to be seen again, while my mom wasn't far off of his pace. So sad. Being beaten by your parents. My brother, on the other hand, is SUPERMAN. Check out his time that was posted on sunrun.com!

My dad with his Sun Run 'Leader' shirt. Both my parents ran one of their 13-week clinics. How do we celebrate being nice a fit btw? By going for dim sum! Nice and healthy indeed. iSketch (FTMFW!) Recently, the guys of #netplay have been playing online pictionary at www.isketch.net ... and it's addicting like all hell! It's even better when you have like-minded individuals playing. Rules only get in the way of fun :)

it's Ah-nuld! More backyard fun One morning, i was awoken by my mother at the god-forsaken early hour of 7:30a -- telling me to go to the backyard and take pictures of ducks. Now, mind you, i had just woken up, and was groggy as all hell, so when she told me that, immediately, i thought 'wtf, am i still having a wierdass dream?!' ... but sure enough, there were 2 ducks swimming in my pool. Man, my backyard. Woodpeckers, squirrels, racoons, cats, a possum, skunks ... it's a zoo i tells yah! 
They had nice formation -- they liked gliding side-by-side alot. 
Every now and then they'd stick their beaks into the water -- i swear they thought they saw fish. dumbass ducks. 
If i had been more alert, i would've tried to catch one, and make some BBQ Duck :P San Fran company Today my dad's aunt and uncle had a stopover from their cruise from San Francisco. Yes, the same family who's granddaughter has modelled in LA. Heh. :P:P (*note* -- there is no actual relation between us! :) ) 
Anyways, that isn't so interesting on it's own -- what is interesting is that they specifically requested to get some 'wife buns' (lo por beng) from a specific bakery, because they baker there is known to have some of the best in the world. Okay, i can believe that, go to some fancy bakery right? Boy was i wrong. They went to KAM DO of all places! I always thought it was just your average hk style cafe ... i guess not! And it wasn't just my great-aunt and great-uncle who heard it -- when my parents took them there, they met MORE people from the cruise, who went there to get the wife buns! Simply Amazing! 
They do have nice packages. 
And that's what was so special ... they were good i guess. I can't tell a difference though :P | | |
| I finally decided to clear out my piggy bank, because it was getting a little full. 
Not surprisingly, there was quite a bit of money! I'm RICH!! :) I absolutely detest change. I also hate counting pennies, as i used to do when i worked as a cashier. Because of that, i rarely use cash -- only when i need to at cash-only places (damn chinese stores!) I never look through my wallet looking for correct change -- i jsut hand over a bill, and shove all the coins into my pocket, to keep the lineups moving quick. 
All sorted! that's $54.45 right there! The thing i miss, was as a cashier, i would just bring all my coins into work, and change them into bills there. Now i need to roll them up, which is a pain. BUT this time, i lucked out! I went to the bank-of-dad and he just took them all, because he likes to count out exact change at stores. Yay, saved me some time. (btw, if you look at the top of the picture, you'll see a plastic container of candies -- clearance easter candies. the whole tub was $0.10!! YES! TEN CENTS! it tastes awful, but.. it was TEN FRIGGEN CENTS! how can you NOT buy it?! :) SNOW IN VANCOUVER It's mid april, and it snowed. alot. wtf. 
Damn global-cooling. I say we need more aerosol cans, filled with CFC's. And we need to burn more gas. We need to warm up the planet some! 
I still can't believe it. It's supposed to be like 20 degress celsius out, NOT FRIGGIN SNOWING!
